"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players..." What does it mean to embrace your calling in the performing arts, and where does God exist in the midst of it?
This week, Elliott sits down with Luis Tirado. Luis has been a part of the church since the beginning. He was part of the original Bridge leadership team, serving our youth, and today he is a full-time employee of Christ Fellowship and the church's Production Director. He is directly responsible for everything you see and hear on Sunday mornings during our worship service as well as for all aspects of the church's performing arts work.
Luis shares about how he first got invovled with performing arts in a church play as a child and how the love he found in it was developed in middle and high school, eventually leading to formal training in New York. We learn what he was up to while he as away from the church for a few years getting his education and how he came back to Christ Fellowship to start Connection Productions.
Elliott and Luis discuss the creative process, how to draw out the best in others, and reminisce about the long list of productions that the church has put on through Connection Productions. We also learn how his work on stage directly led to his marriage to his wife, Ashley.
We also learn a list of Luis' favorite things relating to acting and performing arts.
This is Luis Tirado's story.

Creativity in ingrained within each of us. For some it flows out easier, but we all have the capability of creating. This episode is part one of a two-part series on creativity.
This week, Elliott sits down with April Watkins, an artist and painter who grew up in the church and was a part of Christ Fellowship right from the very beginning. Her father, Bill Rimondi, was one of the founding pastors of Christ Fellowship. She grew up in our youth group, and then became one of the original leaders in our youth ministry, The Bridge. In 2009, April married her husband and they moved away to various places within and outside of the United States, so they are not currently active members of our church.
Since moving, April has fully embraced a passion she began to develop while in high school of painting. Recently, she left her previous career in the medical field to pursue painting full-time.
Elliott and April discuss what art and creativity are, what her personal creative process is and how she goes about creating her paintings, and why she defines her work as "prophetic art". We learn about her latest project, "Chronicles of Him," and she gives advice on how to begin exploring our own creativity.
This is April Watkins's story.
